Happy Anniversary Jennifer!  Today is our 10th Anniversary! I love you baby!

In this show I talk about a very realistic goal of making just $300 to $500 a month in your home business.  What would that mean to you?  What would that mean to your family?

I’ve heard from some experts that most people could avoid bankruptcy if they just made $300 to $500 extra every month.  Well that’s a pretty reasonable goal in MLM if you are willing to WORK!  If you just want to get rich quick then this is NOT for you.

I’m not a financial advisor or anything but I have learned a bit on my own.  Listen to this show to get some advice and find out just how reasonable $300 to $500 a month can be!

Let’s Talk MLM - Show #3 - July 18, 2008

This episode talks about some of the myths and lies in MLM. The show talks about the people who go from zero to hero over night and can go from unknown top money earner in a short period of time. You know all the people your company likes to parade out on stage at all the events.

Let’s just be honest here, those people are few and far between!

There is money to be made in network marketing but it takes effort! Most people don’t want to put in that kind of effort AND most companies want to talk about all the people who went from zero to hero over night. The “hard workers” who took several years (ten years or more in some cases!) don’t get as much attention.

The percentage of people making a full time income is pretty minimal (listen to the show and I’ll reveal some numbers from a friend who used to own an MLM company.)

BUT there are a lot of people making extra money in MLM and if you’re smart and know what to do with it a little check, even a $300 check can make a big difference in your life.

In this show we go back to the basics and talk about What is MLM or What is Network Marketing. I also go into the differences between MLM and direct sales.

During this podcast I use several lessons from Big Al’s training. You can get get more information and GREAT training from Big Al at Fortune Now Publishing.

There are some great “intros” you can use that only take a couple minutes and can really explain what we do in a way that makes it easy for everyone to understand. Even if you are an experienced network marketer you might learn a few tricks from Big Al on how to start your conversation or presentation in a way that helps break down objections and get the prospect engaged right from the beginning.
